Machias Barn Works was founded by Jake Trim to solve a simple problem.  Barn Doors, that are light, stable, strong and affordable, shipped to your farm in days not weeks.  With over 18 years of experience working with barn & home owners, we take a unique approach to solving problems.  Using forward-thinking materials, like Cross Laminated Timber, to evolve classic products.  CLT is gorgeous, easy to work with, stable, and light.  For doors, this is a game changer.  As most barn owners know, Dutch Doors are difficult to keep square, are heavy and taxing on hardware, and they take a beating.  Our doors are half the weight, and don't compromise on the strength and safety for your animals.
